We are going to the Amazon River in July 2026!​

STETSON Ministries is excited to announce a medical missions trip to the Amazon River; this trip will be July 25 - August 2, 2026.  This is an opportunity to spend a week living on a boat on the Amazon River, ministering to the medical needs of the people in the villages along the river, and sharing Christ with the people along the river.  This is a trip of a lifetime!

The cost to STETSON Ministries is $1,850 per person. This includes:
  • the boat 
  • lodging for the entire trip
  • meals while you are in Brazil
  • transportation once you arrive in Brazil
  • travel insurance
  • medical supplies
  • Adventure Day
  • tips and other miscellaneous expenses
The other cost to you:
  • airfare (flights are fluxuating, but under $800 out of Orlando, round trip)
  • Travel Visa for Brazil ($80)
  • passport (if you do not have one)
  • some meals (travel days)
  • souvenirs
Since this is a boat, there is a maximum capacity.  Thus, spaces will fill up fast!

Details of the trip. We will:
  • Fly into Manaus. The flights we are looking at arrive at 2:30 am (Ugh!).
  • Sleep in, have a steakhouse for lunch, check out of the hotel at 6 pm, and go to church.
  • Get onto the boat on Sunday evening.
  • Hold medical clinics for people in villages on the Amazon River each day.
  • Have an Adventure Day in Manaus on Saturday.
  • Return to Florida on Sunday.
